Game notes & controls
Game notes & controls

Geometry Vibes

Guide an arrow through a course of spikes and narrow gaps. Holding the control sends it upward; releasing it sends it down. Small changes in timing decide whether you clear the next obstacle.

Controls Hold the left mouse button or Up Arrow to rise. Release to descend.

MR RACER Stunt Mania

Race across ramps and obstacle-filled tracks against computer-controlled drivers. Keep the car lined up for each jump, then use race rewards to improve its handling.

Controls Use W or Up Arrow to accelerate, A/D or Left/Right Arrows to steer, and S or Down Arrow to brake. On touchscreens, hold to accelerate and swipe to steer.

Golf Orbit

Time a swing and send the ball as far as you can. Each attempt earns progress toward stronger shots, while obstacles and the landing area change how far the ball travels.

Controls Hold and release the left mouse button to set the shot power and hit the ball.

Bubble Pop Legend

Aim colored bubbles at matching groups and clear the board. Look at the next bubble before firing so each shot opens space for the one that follows.

Controls Move the mouse to aim and click to shoot. On touchscreens, adjust the aim and tap to fire.

Arrows Out!

Clear a crowded board by moving arrows in the right order. Follow each path before you tap; an arrow needs room to leave without hitting another one.

Controls Click or tap an arrow to move it. Use the mouse wheel or a pinch gesture to zoom.

Word Chef

Join letters to find the words required by each puzzle. When you get stuck, start with a different first letter and trace a new combination.

Controls Click and drag across letters to make a word, or swipe across them on a touchscreen.

Snack Sort

Group matching snacks to empty the vending machines. Your sorting space is limited, so check which matching items you can reach before filling the last open slot.

Controls Tap a snack to move it into a sorting slot. Group matching snacks to clear them.

Tiny Delivery

Drive food over uneven ground and keep the load in the vehicle. Slow down for steep changes in the road; a delivery ends when the food falls out.

Controls Use the Left and Right Arrow keys, or the on-screen arrow buttons, to move backward and forward.

Play your way

Want a timing challenge? Try Geometry Vibes. Prefer thinking through a move? Start with Arrows Out! or Word Chef.

Know the game

The game guide

The names below refer to different kinds of games, from running challenges to team management. These entries explain the gameplay. The titles in this guide are not available to play on this site.

Speed StarsRhythm and runningGuide only

Speed Stars turns running into a test of rhythm. The controls move the runner, while timing and pacing shape the stride. It suits players who enjoy repeating a short race and working toward a better personal time.

Retro BowlFootball and team managementGuide only

Retro Bowl combines American football with team management. Decisions about the roster sit alongside action on the field. Choose this style when you want the next match to connect with the team you are building.

Subway SurfersEndless runningGuide only

Subway Surfers is an endless runner built around escaping a pursuing guard and avoiding trains. The route keeps moving, so decisions happen while you run. It is a familiar example of score-chasing play built on quick reactions.

TagShared-screen tagGuide only

Tag brings a chasing game to a shared screen. Tagging another player passes the chasing role to them. The player still chasing when the timer ends loses the round, so the final moments can change the result.

Crossy RoadArcade hoppingGuide only

Crossy Road is an endless hopping game with roads, railways and rivers to cross. You decide when to move into the next gap. Its stop-and-go rhythm makes it different from a runner that moves forward continuously.

Shell ShockersMultiplayer shootingGuide only

Shell Shockers is a multiplayer first-person shooter with egg-shaped characters. Other players shape each encounter, and aiming matters alongside movement. This is a competitive shooting game, so its cartoon appearance alone is not an age rating.

Stickman HookPhysics and timingGuide only

Stickman Hook uses swinging physics and one-button control. You attach to a point, build momentum and release to travel onward. It suits players who enjoy adjusting the timing of a move until a route starts to flow.

A quick introduction

What is Poki?

Poki is a platform for playing free browser games from different developers. People also use its name when searching for individual titles. Play Nook is an independent guide to those searches. The game collection on this page is supplied separately through Playgama.

Playing help

Before you play

Check the controls before you start. These answers cover devices, network access and loading.

Starting a game

Choose a game card to open its player. The controls appear next to the game. Use Full screen when you want more room, or close the player to return to the collection.

Playing on phones and tablets

A browser version still needs suitable controls. Pick a game that supports touch if you are using a phone. A game built around keyboard input may need a computer or an external keyboard. Turning the device sideways can give you more room when a game uses a wide screen.

Why is Poki blocked?

A school, workplace or network administrator can restrict access to gaming sites. A page described as "Poki unblocked" cannot change the rules of that network. If access is restricted, ask the network owner whether the game is allowed.

Can you play Poki games offline?

Poki's browser games require an internet connection. Downloading this guide or saving a bookmark does not save the games for offline use. If offline play matters, check whether the game's developer offers a separate version that supports it.

What if a game will not load?

Check your connection and reload the player once. Close other running games if your device is short on memory. If the problem affects one title, return to the collection and choose another. If every title fails on a managed network, ask its administrator about access.

For parents

Choosing games for children

The right game depends on a child's age and what happens during play. Check for advertising, chat and in-game purchases, and try the game together before leaving a child to play. A bright thumbnail does not provide an age rating.

Simple controls and clear goals can be useful starting points. Review each title separately, including any features that connect the player with other people.

A few more answers

Questions about the games

What does free mean here?

The featured games are listed by their provider as free to play. A game may include ads or optional offers. Check any costs shown inside a game before you accept them.

Can I play without downloading an app?

The collection uses browser games that open in an embedded player. Choose a game from its card to start. Follow the controls shown inside the player once the game has loaded.

Do I need an account?

Browsing this page does not require an account. Requirements inside an embedded game depend on its provider and the feature you use.

Are Poki and CrazyGames the same?

They are separate gaming platforms. A title available on one platform may have different availability elsewhere. The collection on this page is supplied through Playgama.

Can I play Roblox or Free Fire here?

Roblox and Free Fire are not included in this collection. An obby or battle game with a similar theme is a separate title. Check the exact game name before starting.

What does .io mean in a game name?

The .io ending appears in many game names and web addresses. Check the description to see whether a title offers online competition, local multiplayer or a solo mode.

Will my progress be saved?

Saving depends on the game. Progress kept in browser storage can be lost when site data is cleared or a private browsing session ends. Follow the game's own save instructions if you want to continue later.

How do I choose games for boys?

Start with what the player enjoys. Driving, sports and puzzle categories offer different kinds of challenges. The controls and difficulty are more useful clues than a category based on who is expected to play.

What if I cannot find a title?

Search the collection by its exact name. The guide also covers games that are not hosted here. Those entries carry a "Guide only" label and do not launch a player.

Your browser & game data

Play Nook has no account registration or analytics script of its own. Search and category selection run in your browser and are not saved by this page.

A game connects to Playgama when you press its Play button. The game provider can receive connection information and may use browser storage, advertising and services with their own privacy terms. Closing the player removes its game frame.

The hosting service may process technical connection logs. Saving progress depends on the individual game. Clearing browser data can remove locally stored progress.
